Here's a little Fire Lantern Festival (colloquially called Thadingyut Festival in Burma) Channel-Filler animation I did for one of the local television channels, MRTV-4.

Inktober 2019

I had a blast drawing these Squiggly Things for Inktober2019.
I didn't follow the prompt. It's more fun this way.
I drew most of those in Autodesk Sketchbook. Some are drawn in Photoshop.
So ya! That was a fun experience.

Portrait of My Sister

Portrait of My Sister [TIME-LAPSE] from Kevin Kosmo on Vimeo.

Yesterday was my sister's birthday. She's been asking me to paint her a portrait for like forever and I finally got around to it.
This portrait is painted on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone using Autodesk Sketchbook app.
Took me about 6 evenings to paint this.
Happy Birthday, Kiddo!

Beetle from Kubo and The Two Strings Reenacting Memorable Matthew McConaughey Scenes

Beetle Reenacting Memorable Matthew McConaughey Scenes from Kevin Kosmo on Vimeo.

I decided to make a beetle for myself because I was very much inspired by Laika Studio's Kubo and The Two Strings movie.

Modeled in 3ds Max and sculpted the details in zBrush.
Textured in Photoshop
Rigged and animated in 3ds Max.

This was a two-month-long project. The majority of time taken went into learning how to rig again (because it's been too long since I last rigged a character). Animating only took 5 days (1 day for each movie segment. Animate by day and leave the computer rendering by night)

I hope you like it!
Cheers!!
